Here’s how the assessment meeting will proceed: During the meeting, participants have the opportunity to express their perspectives, identify common ground, and explore potential solutions.

1. Swift Booking: Click the “Book Your Express MIAM Now” button above to schedule your Urgent MIAM appointment, or visit our contact details page. Our team will contact you within a few hours to arrange a suitable time slot, with the possibility of scheduling your MIAM within 24 hours.

2. Virtual Appointment Setup: Once your fast track MIAMS appointment is confirmed, one of our experienced accredited family mediation team members will confirm your meeting time. Your MIAM assessment meeting session will take place via Zoom and last for 60 minutes.

3. Form Release: After the meeting, we’ll provide you with the signed Form A (for finances), C100 (for parenting), or both, depending on your situation and needs. This enables you or your appointed solicitor to promptly file an application to initiate court proceedings. 8. Validity Period: The Form A or C100 provided to you remains valid for four months from the date of your MIAM or last mediation session, providing ample time to pursue resolution through mediation or the court system.

9. Minimum Duration: Your MIAM session with NFMS will last a minimum of 45 minutes to ensure you and your former partner receive the necessary mediation information, as required by our governing body.

4. The Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM): The Express MIAMS session typically will be one to two hours and is facilitated by a trained family mediator. Participants are provided with a platform to explore potential solutions.

5. Evaluation and Next Steps: Following your Express MIAMS, your mediator evaluates the suitability of mediation for the specific circumstances and discusses potential courses of action with the participants. 

6. Follow up: After your MIAMS, you have access to ongoing assistance from the mediator This could involve additional mediation sessions, counselling, or referrals to pertinent support services.
