Shuttle Mediation Services for Domestic Abuse victims
We have a range of services that can be offered to help to make mediation safe for everyone. We offer remote online services and shuttle mediation.
The Benefits
If you have experienced abuse then this should not mean that you have no other option other than the courts to determine the future of your family.
Often victims of abuse have handed over the decision making and control to their abusers. Mediation is a chance to take back that control, make decisions and set boundaries.
Our Services.
Our Mediators have participated in additional training on how to deal with victims of Abuse.
We offer online services. This means you do not have to be in the same physical space as the other party.
We also offer Shuttle Mediation. This will put you in a separate space and you will not see or speak to the other party.
Mediation is not the Enemy
We understand how stressful family court can be. If you have experienced abuse this does not necessarily impact on arrangements for your children. Court will not punish children for parents behaviours.
Because we understand what the alternative looks like, we are willing to support you to keep control of the arrangements.

Police Evidence: Record of an arrest, caution, or ongoing criminal proceedings for a domestic abuse offence.
Court Orders: A copy of a protective injunction (like a Non-Molestation Order or Occupation Order) that is currently in place or was made within the last 24 months.
Medical Evidence: A letter from a GP, nurse, or health professional confirming they examined you regarding injuries or a condition consistent with domestic abuse.
Expert Support: A letter from a domestic abuse support service (e.g., Women’s Aid, IDVA, or a refuge) confirming they are providing you with support.
Myth Buster Mediation
Mediation starts with a one to one meeting between you and the Mediator. This is your chance to discuss any worries and concerns you may have with mediation. The Mediator can take you through your options.
The Mediator is not there to put you under pressure to participate. They will explain your options and if you decide that it is not for you then your decision will be resepcted.
